Everyone loves a good Spinach Artichoke Dip, but the best part of this recipe is how easy and convenient it is to make! You can really make this recipe work for YOUR schedule.

Whether you want to adapt this dip into a “make-ahead” dish, try some “hands-off” cooking in the Crock Pot, or prepare the classic oven-baked version, this easy recipe is a winner!

    Make This Dip For…

    • Game Day or Tailgating
    • Super Bowl Parties
    • Movie or Game Nights
    • Casual Entertaining
    • Birthday Celebrations

My recommendation with this recipe would be to choose how you make it based on the event, you are cooking for. If you’re hosting the event, I would recommend cooking this dip in the Crock Pot, that way you can keep it warm as you serve it.

If you’re bringing it over to a friend’s house, or you’re planning a huge dinner, I would say that the make-ahead version of this recipe will be a life-saver. The main thing is this…make THIS DIP! It will be a hit no matter when you serve it.

    Ingredients Needed For This Recipe

    • Frozen Spinach
    • Canned Artichoke Hearts
    • Cream Cheese
    • Sour Cream
    • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
    • Shredded Parmesan Cheese
    • Garlic Cloves
    • Salt and Pepper

PRO TIP: If you want an extra kick of flavor, I would recommend adding the juice of 1/2 a lemon and a pinch of lemon zest. The bright, citrusy flavor compliments the other ingredients perfectly!

With just 35 minutes, 8 simple ingredients, and 3 easy steps you can enjoy this delicious dip!

    • Preheat oven and prepare a baking dish with non-stick spray, set aside. Add cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan to a bowl and mix until combined.
    • Add spinach and artichoke hearts to the bowl, stir to combine. Transfer mixture to baking dish, sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese and bake for 20 minutes.

How to Make Spinach Artichoke Dip In The Crock Pot

Making this dish in the Crock Pot is honestly effortless! If you’re hosting, I would definitely recommend making this dip in the Crock Pot, that way you can keep it warm as you’re serving.

    • Add all ingredients to a small crock pot and stir. Put the lid on and set on LOW for 2 hours. After 1 hour, remove lid, and stir. Replace lid and continue to cook for 1 additional hour.
    • Stir dip and taste to adjust seasoning with salt and pepper based on personal preferences. Serve with crackers or chips and enjoy!

Can Spinach Artichoke Dip Be Made-Ahead of Time?

Yes, it sure can! To make Spinach Artichoke Dip ahead of time, just follow the instructions right up until you bake it. Once you’ve transferred the dip to your prepared baking dish, do not add the Parmesan cheese topping.

Cover it tightly with either foil or plastic wrap and place it in the fridge until you are ready to bake it. It will keep in the fridge for up to 36 hours. When ready to bake, thaw with Parmesan cheese and cook as directed.

    How to Serve This Dip

How I serve this Dip depends on where I’m serving it. If I’m making it for just my family, I will transfer the warm dip to a dip serving platter after it’s done cooking, then serve with my favorite crackers, tortilla chips, or toasted baguette.

If I’m hosting a larger gathering, I like to transfer the dip to my Crock Pot, then turn the setting to WARM as I’m serving to keep it at the right temperature.
