Best Ever Red Wine Sangria

Traditional Red Fruit Sangria is sweet, citrusy, and refreshing, plus it's prepared in just 10 minutes! Made with fresh fruits, brandy, and red wine, this Sangria is great to serve at any event, from casual entertaining to Easter dinner, it's sure to be a hit!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup Brandy - can substitute Grand Marnier
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 Medium Sized Orange - thinly sliced
  • 1 Lime - thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Strawberries - caps removed and sliced into quarters
  • 1 cup Raspberries - can substitute blackberries
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) Dry Spanish Red Wine - can substitute California Cabernet
  • 1 to 2 cups Club Soda - amount depending on preference, if you want a stronger sangria add 1 cup, for a less alcoholic sangria add 2 cups

Instructions
 

  • To a large pitcher, add brandy and brown sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves completely in alcohol.
  • Add orange slices, lime slices, strawberries, and raspberries to pitcher and muddle with the back of a wooden spoon. Add in wine and stir mixture together until fully combined. Place in refrigerator and let chill for 1-2 hours.
  • When ready to serve, remove from fridge and add in club soda. Stir and pour into glasses, garnish with additional orange or lime slices. Serve over ice if desired.
