  • 1 stick of Butter - 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1.5 cups Fresh Blueberries - can substitute one can of blueberry pie filling

Instructions

  • Place the butter into a 2-quart sized baking dish. Place the dish in the oven, as it preheats, until butter is fully melted, about 3-5 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, milk and baking powder. Once butter is melted, pour the flour mixture into the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle blueberries on top of the batter, or spoon pie filling into the batter, but do not mix the blueberries into the batter.
  • Bake the cobbler for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and serve while hot with ice cream or whipped cream.
