Making a beautiful meal is a great way to show your love and appreciation for someone, but especially your dad! Whether your dad likes fresh salads or hearty comfort foods, this versatile collection of recipes will have everything you need.

Since Father’s Day is always in June, throwing a family grill night is a fantastic way to celebrate! I’ve included all kinds of cookout foods, from main dishes and finger foods to dips and side dishes. Many of these recipes can also be made ahead of time so that you can spend the day with the dads in your life!

If grilling isn’t on the schedule for Father’s Day, no worries because I’ve also included 10 fabulous Crock Pot recipes! You can prepare these dishes in the morning and let them cook throughout the day, so you don’t have to worry about dinner. That being said, we all know it won’t matter what you make him, it’s really the gesture that counts!

My husband is a big appetizer person, he loves any kind of dip, finger food, snack, or slider! One year for Father’s Day Dinner, I made all of his favorite appetizers and served that as the whole meal… he went crazy for it! You could mix and match these recipes to serve for Father’s Day Dinner, and I promise your dad will be amazed!

    Slow-Cooked Family Favorite Recipes

Making one or two Crock Pot recipes is a great way to lessen the workload when you’re preparing a big meal! I like to refer to slow cooking as ‘hands-free cooking’ because you don’t have to sit there and babysit the stove. You can prepare the recipe at your own convenience and then go about your day knowing that dinner will be ready to serve.
